Canadian carrier Telus is now taking pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S III.
The carrier is offering both the 16GB and 32GB versions. The former will cost
you $159.99 with a minimum $50 monthly plan and your signature on a three-year
contract. The 32GB handset is priced at $209.99 with a minimum $50 monthly plan
and a signed three-year pact. Because the Canadian carriers are offering 4G LTE
connectivity, they will be receiving the version of the Samsung Galaxy S III
powered by the dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor rather than the
model powered by the quad-core 1.4GHz Exynos processor.
Now that the most anticipated Android phone of the year is available for
pre-orders in Canada, perhaps it won't be too long until we start hearing from
the major players in the States. Last week, a leaked screenshot revealed that
the phone will be launched in Canada on June 20th, the same date that another
leak showed the device being released for T-Mobile.
